What’s new for InfoCore: Smarter monitoring with datadog
We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes to bring increased visibility and monitoring to our core banking platform.
Our team has been implementing Datadog monitoring into our banking system to better track the status of windows and programs. By working closely with Datadog, we’ve found a solution that fits with our infrastructure and programming language. Initial tests have already shown success in detecting and notifying our team when issues occur—helping us respond faster and proactively deal with issues.
This is an exciting step toward making our banking system even more robust as we continue to scale!.

Customer Success
Fresh eyes, fresh ideas | The power of listening to every voice in customer success
In the fast-paced world of customer success — especially in industries like banking — there’s often a tendency to rely on what’s familiar. Processes become habits, systems turn into assumptions, and “we’ve always done it this way” quietly becomes a barrier to innovation. That’s why it’s essential to actively seek out and include feedback from younger, less experienced customers and staff — including co-op students and new hires. Their perspectives can be powerful catalysts for improvement.
One of the most valuable things these team members bring is a fresh set of eyes. They view our systems, reports, and routines without the filter of “how it’s always been done.” This allows them to ask critical questions: Why? Why do we use this report? Why are we collecting this data? Why not combine these steps? Why can’t we do things differently?
While these questions may seem basic, they often reveal inefficiencies and outdated assumptions that more experienced team members may have stopped noticing.
For example, within our own customer success efforts, a simple question from a client new to banking inspired us to combine several existing system reports. The result? A more valuable data source that enhanced our marketing insights. This wasn’t a major systems overhaul — it was a small but insightful shift in perspective that made a meaningful impact.
These insights do more than streamline operations — they improve the customer experience. When we break down internal silos, remove friction points, and think creatively about the data we already have, we become more agile and responsive to customer needs. And often, that responsiveness starts with someone unafraid to challenge the status quo.
As experienced professionals, it’s our responsibility to create a culture where these voices are not only heard but welcomed. We must make space for curiosity, encourage collaboration, and most importantly — truly listen to the observations and suggestions of our newer colleagues.
In customer success, every improvement matters. And sometimes, the biggest breakthroughs come from the freshest voices.
