Tip of the Month

The Power of the "Pause" in Decision Making

As the credit union landscape shifts rapidly, leaders are making high-stakes decisions every day. In these high-pressure moments, it’s dangerously easy to let urgency dictate your strategy. That’s why our InfoTip this month is inspired by the book Clear Thinking by Shane Parrish.

Parrish argues that our judgment suffers most when we operate on "autopilot," driven by four instinctual defaults: emotion, ego, social pressure, and the urge to maintain the status quo. The ultimate takeaway is learning to master the deliberate "pause."

How to apply this today: The next time a sudden industry shift or competitor's move tempts you to react immediately, force a gap. Ask yourself and your team: "Are we reacting to the pressure of the moment, or are we responding to the actual problem?"
By creating this conscious space before making a move, you shift from simply reacting to executing with intention. In a noisy industry, this clarity is your ultimate competitive advantage, intention. In a noisy industry, this clarity is your ultimate competitive advantage.

Product Updates

Built Through Partnership

This month, our focus has been simple but essential: listening.

As InfoGo continues to grow, the feedback we receive from our credit union partners is directly shaping the platform. From onboarding discussions to post-launch reviews, your insights are informing how we refine workflows, strengthen the user interface, expand feature capabilities, and introduce additional language support.

Digital banking in the credit union space cannot follow a generic template. Each institution operates within its own structure, regulatory context, and member expectations. Ongoing feedback allows us to tailor InfoGo to align closely with how teams operate and how members engage across different communities.

Several recent refinements have come directly from partner input, reinforcing our belief that meaningful progress happens through collaboration.

We value the insight shared across our partner network and remain committed to shaping InfoGo in step with the evolving needs of the broader credit union community.

Amortization Schedules Now Live in InfoLend

We’re excited to share that one of the most requested enhancements is now live! Amortization schedules can now be generated directly within InfoLend.

Lenders can view a full, real-time amortization breakdown inside the application while structuring a loan, and generate a downloadable PDF report for members or internal documentation.

No external calculators. No manual workarounds. Just clear visibility built directly into the lending workflow.

Bay Credit Union Mobile Wallet Onboarding Underway

We’re pleased to share that Mobile Wallet onboarding has officially kicked off with Bay Credit Union! This marks another important step as we continue expanding secure, modern payment capabilities across our credit union partners.

Mobile Wallet enables members to add their debit cards to supported digital wallets, allowing for convenient, contactless payments using their mobile devices. As onboarding progresses, we’re working closely with CUCC and Everlink to complete the required configurations and system setup to support full method-of-payment functionality.

The Growing Focus on Operational Resilience

One topic that’s been coming up more often lately in the credit union space is operational resilience. As more services move online and members expect faster responses, many teams are taking a closer look at how their systems and day-to-day processes hold up when things get busy.

Some common areas credit unions are paying closer attention to:

  • Making sure systems and internal processes are clearly documented so staff can jump in when needed

  • Cleaning up manual workarounds that tend to build up over time

  • Having a simple plan in place for handling system issues during peak member activity

When everything is running smoothly, these things are easy to overlook. But when something unexpected happens, they make a big difference. On the InfoCare side, we’ve been reviewing how requests come in and how tickets move through our support process so we can continue improving response times and resolutions for our clients.
