Beyond the Wallet: Navigating the 2026 Mobile Payment Era

As we move through 2026, the digital payment revolution has matured from a trend into a global standard, with transactions now surpassing the $1.8 trillion milestone. The focus has shifted from simple adoption to the mastery of "Super Apps" that blend biometrics, blockchain security, and instant loyalty rewards. For Credit Unions, the challenge is no longer just offering a digital option, but providing a sophisticated, unified commerce experience that keeps members engaged in an increasingly cashless society. The LOS as a Strategic Growth Driver

In today's competitive landscape, a Loan Origination System (LOS) has evolved from a simple back-office tool into a critical strategic asset. As member expectations for instant decisions and seamless digital experiences rise, Credit Unions must bridge the "expectation gap" through intelligent automation and configurable workflows. By leveraging advanced decisioning engines and real-time communication, your institution can redirect staff focus toward high-value member relationships while maintaining a significant market advantage. Tip of the Month

Use Planner in Teams to Turn Meeting Notes Into Real Follow-Through

If your meetings generate good discussion but messy follow-up, Planner in Teams is a simple way to close the gap. Instead of keeping agendas in one place, notes in another, and action items in someone’s head, you can run meetings where the agenda, notes, and assigned tasks live together - and where action items automatically become trackable work.

To get started, in a Teams meeting, open Notes (or add an editable agenda) and capture action items as tasks, assigning owners directly in the meeting notes. Those tasks sync into Microsoft Planner (and To Do for the assignee), so the follow-up doesn’t depend on someone “remembering” after the call. If you're not seeing those options appear, be sure to go to "Apps" on the left sidebar to download the Planner app first.

The result is tighter coordination: everyone leaves with the same written context, clear owners, and a shared place to track progress - without needing a separate “recap email” or spreadsheet. And after the meeting, notes remain easy to find (including via meeting recap), so decisions and action items don’t disappear into chat history.

Happy note-taking and actioning!📝

Throughout the process, we stay focused on usability, stability, and continuous improvement so the platform can evolve with member needs over time.

Lending Pipeline Analytics

Lending Pipeline Analytics is now live in InfoLend, giving lending teams a clear, interactive view of application volume, status, turnaround time, and lender activity.

The dashboard allows users to filter results by lender, product type, and time period, and visually track how applications are progressing through each stage of the pipeline. Built-in charts highlight stage performance, average days spent at each step, and trends in application volume over time, while lender activity views help managers understand workload distribution and performance.

Together, this provides practical insight to identify bottlenecks, balance resources, and keep lending operations running efficiently.

FPAN Swap Update

We’d like to share an early update on the upcoming FPAN Swap, a mandatory enhancement being introduced this year. This change will allow certain card replacement requests to be handled more quickly and seamlessly across the Everlink–Interac network.

The work is required to be implemented by October 2026, and we’re working closely with CUCC, Everlink, and Interac as the initiative moves forward. We’ll continue to share any other key updates related to mandated third-party changes!
